Miller Mavericks (Charlottesville, VA) supporters were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Fishburne Military Caissons (Waynesboro, VA), 4-3 in a league challenge.

Next, the Mavericks battle the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) in a VIC challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Miller will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Raiders go into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Blue Ridge (St. George, VA).

The Caissons now possess a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Hargrave Military Academy for a VIC challenge on Thursday, October 13.
