Nebraska High School Basketball - Exeter-Milligan tops McCool Junction
February 6, 2018: Exeter, NE 68351 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Exeter-Milligan Timberwolves (Exeter, NE) and the visiting McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), saw Exeter-Milligan's basketball squad knock off McCool Junction by a count of 54-42.
With the victory, Exeter-Milligan upgrades its record to 16-5 on the campaign. The Timberwolves travel to Cross County (Stromsburg, NE) to play the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Cross County lost 57-42 in their recent league challenge against East Butler (Brainard, NE)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE) in a D2 District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 9. McCool Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 1-17 record after their 60-31 league loss to Hampton (Hampton, NE).
