The Thornton Fractional North Meteors basketball team (Calumet City, IL), dropped 66-55 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Bowman Academy Eagles (Gary, IN)

The Eagles now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Horizon Christian Academy for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, February 5.

The Meteors (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 16-8 record. In their last battle, Mt. Vernon prevailed over Marion County (Philadelphia, MO), 51-47, in a league battle.
