Washington High School Basketball - Evergreen ripped by Spanaway Lake
December 30, 2017: Spanaway, WA 98387 The Spanaway Lake Sentinels basketball team scored 97 points and held the visiting Evergreen Plainsmen to 53 in the Sentinels non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Sentinels now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln for a 3A Pierce County contest on Wednesday, January 3. Spanaway Lake will meet a Abes team coming off a 70-66 non-league win over St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL). The Abes record now stands at 10-0.
The Plainsmen (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Prairie (Brush Prairie, WA). The Falcons enter the 3A Greater St. Helens contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Prairie triumphed over Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA), 55-49, in a non-league contest.
