New Mexico High School Basketball - Los Alamos nips St. Michael's
November 22, 2016: Santa Fe, NM 87505 Los Alamos Hilltoppers (Los Alamos, NM) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM), 39-36 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Los Alamos upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers host Pojoaque Valley (Pojoaque, NM) to play the Elks/Elkettes in a non-league test on Saturday, November 26. The Elks/Elkettes go into the test with a record of 1-0. Pojoaque Valley won 41-39 in their recent non-league test against Capital (Santa Fe, NM)
The Horsemen now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Albuquerque Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 29. St. Michael's will encounter a Chargers squad coming off a 55-30 non-league win over Bosque (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers record now stands at 2-0.
