Velma Jackson Falcons (Camden, MS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Prentiss Bulldogs (Prentiss, MS), 52-24 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Velma Jackson upgrades its record to 28-2 on the campaign. The Falcons host Jefferson County (Fayette, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 24. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-15. Jefferson County lost 71-61 in their recent league bout against Crystal Springs (Crystal Springs, MS)
