Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA) and the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), saw Bishop McCort's basketball squad knock off Punxsutawney by a tally of 63-45.

With the victory, Bishop McCort improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Crushers travel to Central Cambria (Ebensburg, PA) to play the Red Devils in a Laurel Highlands 1 challenge on Monday, December 18. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Central Cambria won 58-31 in their recent league challenge against Bedford (Bedford, PA)

Next up, the Chucks play the Redbank Valley Bulldogs (New Bethlehem, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 18. Punxsutawney will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 53-51 league loss to Union (Rimersburg, PA).
