September 21, 2012: Roswell, NM 88201 The Goddard Rockets (Roswell, NM) football overcame the visiting Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 27-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Rockets clash with the Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 28. Goddard will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Onate (Las Cruces, NM).
The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Los Alamos (Los Alamos, NM). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Los Alamos thwarted Kirtland Central (Kirtland, NM), 34-0, in a non-league bout.
