Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Portage overwhelms United

Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Portage Mustangs (Portage, PA) and the visiting United Lions (Armagh, PA), saw Portage's basketball squad wallop United by a tally of 67-34.

With the victory, Portage improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to North Star (Boswell, PA) to confront the Cougars in a Western Pennsylvania - Northern challenge on Wednesday, January 21. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. North Star lost 52-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Shade (Cairnbrook, PA)

Next up, the Lions confront the Blairsville Bobcats (Blairsville, PA) in a Heritage challenge, on Tuesday, January 20. United will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 63-24 league win over Northern Cambria (Northern Cambria, PA).
