In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball team scored a decisive 62-36 triumph over the Yorktown Tigers.

In their next game, the Golden Bears meet the Lapel Bulldogs (Lapel, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Monroe Central will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record.
