Fans at Friday's league challenge between the The Woodlands Highlanders (The Woodlands, TX) and the visiting Oak Ridge War Eagles (Conroe, TX), saw The Woodlands's basketball squad overcome Oak Ridge by a tally of 64-44.

With the victory, The Woodlands improves its record to 13-12 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Summer Creek (Houston, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 6A Region II District 16 challenge on Tuesday, January 19. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 13-7. Summer Creek won 38-31 in their recent league challenge against College Park (The Woodlands, TX)
