Illinois High School Basketball - Mundelein fells Vernon Hills
November 27, 2018: Mundelein, IL 60060 Mundelein Mustangs (Mundelein, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL), 65-54 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mundelein upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL) to clash with the Rockets in a non-league bout on Friday, November 30. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Richmond-Burton lost 80-61 in their recent non-league challenge against Rockford Christian (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Deerfield Warriors (Deerfield, IL) in a Central Suburban - North challenge, on Friday, November 30. Vernon Hills will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 58-54 non-league loss to Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
