Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nip the host Del Oro Golden Eagles (Loomis, CA), 2-1 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Woodcreek upgrades its record to 7-6 on the season. The Timberwolves host Rocklin (Rocklin, CA) to encounter the Thunder in a bout on Friday, February 10. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Rocklin won 41-34 in their recent league bout against Roseville (Roseville, CA)

Next up, the Golden Eagles encounter the Nevada Union Miners (Grass Valley, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 10. Del Oro will attempt to move on its 19-4 season record.
