Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Robinson Rockets (Robinson, TX) and the visiting Whitney Wildcats (Whitney, TX), saw Robinson's basketball squad trounce Whitney by a score of 62-13.

With the victory, Robinson improves its record to 17-3 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Groesbeck (Groesbeck, TX) to clash with the Goats in a 3A Region III District 19 test on Friday, January 9. The Goats go into the test with a record of 3-5.

The Wildcats now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gatesville for a 3A Region I District 7 test on Friday, January 9. Whitney will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 62-57 non-league loss to La Vega (Waco, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 7-14.
