Bishop Carroll Golden Eagles (Wichita, KS) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team nip the visiting Newton Railroaders (Newton, KS), 40-34 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Bishop Carroll improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Central (Salina, KS) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league test on Friday, November 2. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 7-2. Central won 20-7 in their recent non-league test against Eisenhower (Goddard, KS)

With the loss, Newton drops to 3-6 on the campaign.
