Game Summary
Barlow hung tough with the SWC's first place Brookfield's Bobcats in a well played defensive game by Barlow, but Brookfield's Brittany Fusek was able to space the Falcons' seven hits and Barlow failed to score on two rallies as they ran themselves out of opportunities. This contest was a prime example of how Barlow could have competed with all SWC competition, but a season of errors have really hurt the Falcons' chances all season. Anne Dolan was roughed up by the states number 6 team for 12 hits, including a 245 foot home run off the bat of Felicia Lennon. Barlow was paced by Kerianne Gibney's 2 for 2, a walk and run, Katherine Acocella's 2 for 4 with an rbi, with the balance of hits from Ashley Prusak, Dolan and Allie Grimes, who also scored.
