Florida High School Baseball - Benjamin loses to Palm Beach Gardens
April 2, 2011: Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410 The Palm Beach Gardens Gators crushed the visiting Benjamin Buccaneers baseball team by a count of 14-5 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Gators now possess a 13-5 record. They take the field next when they host Monsignor Pace for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 5. Palm Beach Gardens will face a Spartans team coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Archbishop McCarthy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Spartans record now stands at 11-7.
Next, the Buccaneers face the Pope John Paul II Eagles (Boca Raton, FL) in a 2A District 13 bout, on Monday, April 4. Benjamin will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 8-9 record after their 11-8 league win over St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
