December 28, 2016: Newberg, OR 97132 Newberg Tigers (Newberg, OR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA), 58-51 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Newberg upgrades its record to 2-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Hillsboro won 71-50 in their recent non-league bout against North Salem (Salem, OR)
Next up, the Thunder play the North Salem Vikings (Salem, OR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Mountain View will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 71-50 non-league loss to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OR).
