Ashland Blue Devils (Ashland, MS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oxford Chargers (Oxford, MS), 60-56 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Ashland upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Blue Devils host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 5. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Holly Springs lost 75-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Olive Branch (Olive Branch, MS)

Next up, the Chargers play the Charleston Tigers (Charleston, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 9. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record.
