The Stone Cougars basketball team (Waldorf, MD), was nudged 68-61 in Friday's league battle with the host Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD)

The Chargers now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDonough for a Southern Maryland battle on Wednesday, January 31. Lackey will confront a Rams team coming off a 60-46 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD). The Rams record now stands at 1-10.

The Cougars (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The come into the Southern Maryland battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, St. Charles was nudged by La Plata (La Plata, MD), 58-54, in a league battle.
