In Friday's non-league outing, the Winter Park Wildcats (Winter Park, FL) basketball squad beat the visiting Freedom Patriots (Orlando, FL), by a count of 59-50.

The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against University (Orlando, FL). The Cougars go into the 8A District 5 outing with a 10-4 record. In their last outing, University gained a win over Lake Nona (Orlando, FL), 69-53, in a non-league outing.
