West Virginia High School Football - Iaeger succumbs to Chapmanville
September 15, 2006: Chapmanville, WV 25508 Chapmanville Tigers (Chapmanville, WV) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Iaeger Cubs (Iaeger, WV), 40-12 in a non-league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Logan for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. Chapmanville will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 37-24 league loss to Hoover (Clendenin, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
With the defeat, Iaeger moves to 2-2 on the campaign. The Cubs host Gilbert (Gilbert, WV) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 22. The Lions go into the challenge with a record of 4-0. Gilbert won 56-28 in their recent non-league challenge against East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY)
