The South Mecklenburg Sabres routed the visiting East Forsyth Eagles basketball team by a final score of 79-37 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Sabres face the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 22. South Mecklenburg will attempt to move on its 24-4 season record. The Titans enter the game with a 16-10 record after their 60-44 non-league loss to Freedom (Morganton, NC).
