Connecticut High School Basketball - Trumbull tops Stamford
December 19, 2018: Stamford, CT 06902 Trumbull Golden Eagles (Trumbull, CT) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Stamford Black Knights (Stamford, CT), 84-70 in a league bout.
With the victory, Trumbull upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles travel to Darien (Darien, CT) to play the Blue Wave in a Fairfield County bout on Friday, December 21. The Blue Wave come into the bout with a record of 1-1. Darien lost 61-57 in their recent league bout against Bridgeport Central (Bridgeport, CT)
Next up, the Black Knights play the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) in a Fairfield County bout, on Friday, December 21. Stamford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 70-57 league win over Trinity Catholic (Stamford, CT).
