Austin White racked up two RBIs on two hits for Gilmer High School. White singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

Heritage stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring one run on.
After pushing across one run in the top of the fifth, Gilmer High School faced just a 2-1 deficit. set off a Gilmer High School rally. Tucker Plouffe grounded out to end the Gilmer High School threat.
Heritage built upon its lead with five runs in the sixth. Jake Sampson kicked things off with a double, bringing home Jacob Carter and Colby Chattin. That was followed up by that scored Cody Sherlin.
Three runs in the top of the seventh helped Gilmer High School close its deficit to 7-4.
