New York High School Basketball - Seton Catholic Central winner over Madrid-Waddington
December 30, 2008: Madrid, NY 13660 The Seton Catholic Central Knights (Plattsburgh, NY) basketball knocked off the host Madrid-Waddington Yellowjackets (Madrid, NY), 54-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Northeastern Clinton (Champlain, NY). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-0 record. In their last test, Northeastern Clinton topped Lake Placid (Lake Placid, NY), 63-20, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Brushton-Moira for a Section 10 East test on Monday, January 5. Madrid-Waddington will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 82-67 non-league loss to Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-4.
