Missouri High School Basketball - Clinton knocked off by Smith-Cotton
February 6, 2018: Sedalia, MO 65301 The Smith-Cotton Tigers basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Clinton Cardinals to 49 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Michael the Archangel for a West Central contest on Friday, February 9. Smith-Cotton will meet a team coming off a 69-53 non-league loss to Warrensburg (Warrensburg, MO). The record now stands at 6-12.
The Cardinals (9-12) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Kansas City, MO). The Warriors enter the West Central contest with a 12-9 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X ran past Center (Kansas City, MO), 61-60, in a league contest.
