The Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) basketball felled the visiting Higley Knights (Gilbert, AZ), 50-39 in Tuesday's league test.

The Buffaloes (13-12) will now prepare for their test against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Dons go into the 4A East Sky test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Coronado went down by Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ), 64-22, in a league test.

The Knights now own a 3-18 record. They take the field next when they host Williams Field for a 4A East Sky outing on Friday, January 29. Higley will encounter a Black Hawks squad coming off a 54-32 league win over Maricopa (Maricopa, AZ). The Black Hawks record now stands at 16-5.
