With the victory, Yuma Catholic improves its record to 13-1 on the campaign. The Shamrocks travel to Tonopah Valley (Tonopah, AZ) to battle the Phoenix in a 2A West challenge on Monday, January 5. The Phoenix come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Tonopah Valley lost 42-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Salt River (Scottsdale, AZ)
Next up, the Redskins battle the Greyhills Academy Fightin' Knights (Tuba City, AZ) in a 2A North challenge, on Tuesday, January 6. St. Johns will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Fightin' Knights come into the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 58-29 non-league loss to Winslow (Winslow, AZ).
