January 29, 2010: Emmaus, PA 18049 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) and the visiting Bethlehem Catholic Hawks (Bethlehem, PA), saw Emmaus's basketball squad knock off Bethlehem Catholic by a score of 58-42.
With the victory, Emmaus improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Boyertown (Boyertown, PA) to battle the Bears in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 30. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 9-9. Boyertown lost 45-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Wilson (West Lawn, PA)
Next up, the Hawks battle the Dieruff Huskies (Allentown, PA) in a Lehigh Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 2. Bethlehem Catholic will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 1-14 record after their 72-49 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain East (Swiftwater, PA).
