December 27, 2008: Madisonville, KY 42431 Hopkins County Central Storm (Madisonville, KY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Moore Mustangs (Louisville, KY), 50-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Hopkins County Central upgrades its record to 2-5 on the season. The Storm travel to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Monday, December 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Cumberland County won 52-50 in their recent non-league bout against Warren Central (Bowling Green, KY)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Warren Central Dragons (Bowling Green, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 29. Moore will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 52-50 non-league loss to Cumberland County (Burkesville, KY).
