Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Allegheny winner over State College
January 21, 2017: State College, PA 16801 In Saturday's non-league outing, the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) basketball squad felled the host State College Little Lions (State College, PA), by a margin of 54-42.
The Tigers (15-1) will now prepare for their outing against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans go into the WPIAL 6A 3 outing with a 9-5 record. In their last outing, Shaler Area thwarted Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 67-63, in a non-league outing.
The Little Lions now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Chambersburg for a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth outing on Tuesday, January 24. State College will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Spring Grove (Spring Grove, PA). The Trojans record now stands at 3-14.
