In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Garey Vikings football squad scored a close 49-48 victory over the Bishop Montgomery Knights.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 9. Garey will attempt to move on its 9-2 season record. The Vikings enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 54-14 non-league win over California Military Institute (Perris, CA).
