Alabama High School Basketball - Carver can't hold off Providence
January 7, 2017: Montgomery, AL 36108 The Providence Stallions basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Carver Wolverines to 63 in the Stallions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Stallions now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ribault for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 10. Providence will battle a Trojans team coming off a 72-51 non-league win over Islands (Savannah, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 10-3.
The Wolverines (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Park Crossing (Montgomery, AL). The Thunderbirds come into the 6A Area 4 contest with a 11-4 record.
