Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) and the host Venture Academy Mustangs (Stockton, CA), saw Riverbank's basketball squad knock off Venture Academy by a count of 61-44.

With the victory, Riverbank upgrades its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Bruins host Escalon (Escalon, CA) to play the Cougars in a Trans Valley League challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Escalon lost 74-50 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty Ranch (Galt, CA)
