Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Los Gatos Wildcats (Los Gatos, CA) and the visiting Pioneer Mustangs (San Jose, CA), saw Los Gatos's basketball squad hold off Pioneer by a tally of 54-52.

With the victory, Los Gatos improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 22. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 22. Pioneer will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 60-54 non-league win over Leigh (San Jose, CA).
