January 15, 2011: Kimball, NE 69145 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Kimball Longhorns (Kimball, NE) and the visiting Sidney Red Raiders (Sidney, NE), saw Kimball's basketball squad knock off Sidney by a score of 59-51.
With the victory, Kimball improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Gordon-Rushville (Gordon, NE) to battle the Mustangs in a C1 District 12 challenge on Saturday, January 22. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 4-5.
Next up, the Red Raiders battle the Bridgeport Bulldogs (Bridgeport, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Sidney will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 46-32 non-league loss to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE).
