The St. Thomas Academy Cadets basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Academy of Holy Angels Stars to 43 in the Cadets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cadets now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hill-Murray for a Metro - East contest on Tuesday, January 30. St. Thomas Academy will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 79-69 league loss to Simley (Inver Grove Heights, MN). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-14.

Next up, the Stars play the Concordia Academy Beacons (Roseville, MN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Academy of Holy Angels will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Beacons come into the bout with a 8-8 record after their 71-44 non-league loss to Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN).
