California High School Basketball - Aquinas fells Academy for Academic Excellence

December 18, 2009: Apple Valley, CA 92307

Aquinas Falcons (San Bernardino, CA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Aquinas upgrades its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Carter (Rialto, CA) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 26. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Carter won 60-50 in their recent non-league bout against Fontana (Fontana, CA)

Next up, the Knights play the University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 29. Academy for Academic Excellence will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 70-32 non-league win over Joshua Springs (Yucca Valley, CA).
