Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Stanly Comets (New London, NC) and the visiting West Montgomery Warriors (Mt. Gilead, NC), saw North Stanly's basketball squad wallop West Montgomery by a tally of 77-47.

With the victory, North Stanly improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Comets host West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 11. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Warriors confront the Jordan-Matthews Jets (Siler City, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 10. West Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Jets come into the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 70-64 non-league loss to Northwood (Pittsboro, NC).
