California High School Basketball - Eastlake overwhelms San Ysidro
February 1, 2014: Chula Vista, CA 91915 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Eastlake Titans (Chula Vista, CA) and the visiting San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA), saw Eastlake's basketball squad wallop San Ysidro by a tally of 71-46.
With the victory, Eastlake improves its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Titans host Olympian (Chula Vista, CA) to confront the Eagles in a Mesa challenge on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. Olympian lost 56-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Southwest Raiders (San Diego, CA) in a South Bay challenge, on Wednesday, February 5. San Ysidro will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 56-33 non-league loss to Castle Park (Chula Vista, CA).
