California High School Volleyball - Cathedral edged by Loyola
March 13, 2009: San Diego, CA 92130 The Loyola Cubs held off the host Cathedral Dons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Friday's non-league contest.
Next up, the Cubs face the Mira Costa Mustangs (Manhattan Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 14. Loyola will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 5-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Tesoro (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA).
With the loss, Cathedral moves to 1-2 on the year. The Dons travel to Woodbridge (Irvine, CA) to face the Warriors in a non-league contest on Saturday, March 14. The Warriors go into the contest with a record of 0-4. Woodbridge lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Poway (Poway, CA)
