Arizona High School Basketball - Morenci ripped by Camp Verde
December 11, 2008: Morenci, AZ 85540 The Camp Verde Cowboys basketball team scored 84 points and held the host Morenci Wildcats to 41 in the Cowboys non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cowboys now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Red Mesa for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 11. Camp Verde will meet a Redskins team coming off a 51-41 non-league loss to Rock Point (Rock Point, AZ). The Redskins record now stands at 0-5.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thatcher (Thatcher, AZ). The Eagles enter the 2A East contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Thatcher was routed by Holbrook (Holbrook, AZ), 49-38, in a non-league contest.
