California High School Basketball - Long Beach Poly can't hold off Loyola

December 13, 2014: Los Angeles, CA 90006

The Loyola Cubs basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits to 59 in the Cubs non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cubs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Redondo Union for a non-league contest on Friday, December 26.

The Jackrabbits (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Putnam City West (Oklahoma City, OK). The Patriots enter the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Putnam City West nudged Enid (Enid, OK), 84-59, in a league contest.
