Oregon High School Basketball - R.A. Long can't hold off Rainier
December 5, 2016: Rainier, OR 97048 The Rainier Columbians basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the visiting R.A. Long Lumberjacks to 46 in the Columbians non-league victory on Monday.
The Columbians now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Castle Rock for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 7. Rainier will battle a Rockets team coming off a 73-48 non-league loss to Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Rockets record now stands at 1-3.
The Lumberjacks (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against WF West (Chehalis, WA). The Bearcats come into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, WF West edged Burlington-Edison (Burlington, WA), 65-48, in a non-league contest.
