Colorado High School Baseball - Smoky Hill nips Overland
April 12, 2013: Aurora, CO 80015 Smoky Hill Buffaloes (Aurora, CO) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Smoky Hill upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Boulder (Boulder, CO) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Saturday, April 13. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 5-4. Boulder won 6-4 in their recent league contest against Fort Collins (Fort Collins, CO)
The Trailblazers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arapahoe for a 5A Centennial contest on Tuesday, April 16. Overland will play a Warriors squad coming off a 6-3 league win over Eaglecrest (Centennial, CO). The Warriors record now stands at 6-4.
