California High School Softball - Pacific bounces South Gate
April 28, 2012: South Gate, CA 90280 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Pacific Pirates (San Bernardino, CA) and the host South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), witnessed Pacific's softball squad prevail over South Gate by a count of 15-6.
The Pirates now sport a 8-14 record. They play next when they host Carter for a San Andreas match on Tuesday, May 1. Pacific will face a Lions squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Cajon (San Bernardino, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
The Rams (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Rough Riders come into the Eastern test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Roosevelt was routed by Harbor Teacher Prep (Wilmington, CA), 11-2, in a non-league test.
