Texas High School Football - Axtell trounces Wortham
October 5, 2012: Wortham, TX 76693 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Axtell Longhorns football squad scored a big 32-0 victory over the Wortham Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Longhorns clash with the Bosqueville Bulldogs (Waco, TX) in a 1A-1 Region III District 12 match, on Friday, October 12. Axtell will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 6-0 record after their 19-13 non-league win over Bremond (Bremond, TX).
The Bulldogs (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Meridian (Meridian, TX). The Yellowjackets enter the 1A-2 Region III District 9 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Meridian was crushed by Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX), 21-10, in a non-league match.
