October 14, 2016: Mt. Angel, OR 97362 In Friday's league match, the host Kennedy Trojans football squad scored a good 14-6 victory over the St. Paul Buckaroos.
In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Corbett Cardinals (Corbett, OR) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 21. Kennedy will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 20-7 non-league win over Madras (Madras, OR).
The Buckaroos (4-2) will now prepare for their match against Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Cobras enter the 2A Tri-River match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Central Linn dropped by Regis (Stayton, OR), 41-0, in a league match.
