September 21, 2011: New Fairfield, CT 06812 In Wednesday's league battle, the host New Fairfield Rebels volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Oxford Wolverines.
The Rebels (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Barlow (Redding, CT). The Falcons come into the Southwest match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Barlow achieved victory over New Milford (New Milford, CT), 3-0, in a league match.
With the loss, Oxford drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Pomperaug (Southbury, CT) to clash with the Panthers in a Southwest match on Friday, September 23. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 3-1. Pomperaug won 3-0 in their recent league match against Brookfield (Brookfield, CT)
